Rules and Regulations - Membership

  • All applications for membership shall be submitted in the prescribed form along with the prescribed fee.

  • The Governing Council shall have absolute discretion to refuse admission to any applicant without assigning any reason.

Categories of members ICC shall consist of eight categories of membership namely.

  • Patrons

  • Promoter members

  • Foundation members

  • Corporate members

  • Fellows members

  • Associate members

  • Honorary members

  •  
  • Ordinary members

Patrons
The governing council may, by a resolution of 2/3rd members present, invite any very eminent or distinguished person to join ICC as a patron and on acceptance of the invitation, such person shall become a patron. The governing council may nominate one of the patrons to be the chief patron. The governing council may invite patrons to attend important meetings, seminars, conferences and other functions of ICC.

Promoter members
Every person who originated and contributed to the promotion of ICC and subscribed to the Memorandum of Association of ICC, shall be a promoter member. Every promoter member shall be a life member of ICC and its governing council.

Foundation members
Any consultant, be it an individual, firm. company, organisation, institution, society or association, which tenders the prescribed amount of admission fee, shall be admitted by the governing council as a foundation member. The governing council may by a resolution approved by 2/3rd majority of members present, invite any distinguished professional or person who in its opinion can make significant contribution to promoting the object of ICC, to join ICC as a foundation member and on acceptance of the invitation such professional or person shall become a foundation member. Provided that, in so far as it is possible, the governing council shall attempt to give fair representation to every discipline of professionals. Tenure of invited Foundation members will be of four years and those who pay membership fee, will be life members.

Corporate member
Any consultant other than an individual who is interested in promoting the objects of 1CC, and who tenders the prescribed amount of admission fee, shall be admitted by the governing council as a corporate member. Every corporate member shall be a life member of ICC. 

Fellows members
Any consultant, who is an individual, interested in promoting the objects of 1CC, and who tenders the prescribed amount of admission fee, shall be admitted by the governing council as a fellow. Every fellow shall be a life member of 1CC. 

Associate members
Any consultant who is interested in promoting, the objects of ICC and who tenders the prescribed amount of admission fee and annual subscription, shall be admitted by the governing council as an associate member.

Honorary members
The governing council may by resolution of 2/3rd majority of the members present, invite any eminent or distinguished person to join ICC as an honorary member and on acceptance of the invitation such person shall become an honorary member. Provided that there shall not be more than five honorary members at any point of time. The duration of the honorary membership shall be of two years.

Ordinary members
Any person, other than a consultant, be it an individual firm, company, organization, institution, society or association who is interested in promoting the objects of ICC and tenders the prescribed amount of admission fee, shall be admitted by the governing council as an ordinary member. Every ordinary member shall be a life member of ICC.
